- Monitor and address quality concerns from raw materials to finished products.
- Collaborate across teams for quality improvement and defect resolution.
- Enhance food safety traceability systems and regulatory compliance.
- Implement and oversee GMP and PRP checks and audits.
- Conduct regular audits for process improvement and adherence to protocols.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and regulatory agencies for audits.
- Develop audit readiness programs and stay updated on industry trends.
- Investigate quality incidents and customer complaints, taking corrective actions.
- Liaise with technology for product development approval.
- Implement satisfaction surveys and communicate transparently with stakeholders.
- Ensure raw materials meet specifications and compliance.
- Conduct supplier audits to maintain standards.
- Total Management Quality Systems:
- Develop and maintain SOPs for quality and food safety.
- Keep accurate records accessible for audits and training
- Training and Development:
- Establish policies and procedures for compliance.
- Coordinate talent management and compliance training.
- Drive a culture of quality through training and awareness.
- Develop and maintain departmental budget adherence.
- Supervise the quality assurance department and provide guidance.
- Manage contracted cleaning company relations.
- Train staff on processes and procedures, manage quality activities
- Bachelors/B.Tech in Food science, Microbiology, chemistry, or a related field.
- 5 – 6 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Food Safety management in the food manufacturing/FMCG sector, meat industry preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, including, but not limited to, HACCP etc.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000.
- Experience with food safety audits and certifications (E.G GMP).
- Certification in food safety.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft suite
