Our client is looking for an Oracle Database Administrator to join their team


Responsibilities:


  • Database monitoring and Maintenance
  • Monitors database infrastructure
  • Proactively monitors the work queues.
  • Perform operational tasks to resolve all incidents/requests in a timely manner and within the agreed SLA.
  • Perform Proactive Performance Monitoring and provide applicable suggestions
  • Provide High Availability Solutions and Support and maintain, monitor and troubleshoot the environments with such setups
  • Update tickets with resolution tasks performed
  • Identify, Investigate, analyze issues and errors prior to or when they occur, and log all such incidents in a timely manner.

Key Skills:

Must have:

  • Oracle RDBMS 12c &19c,
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

Nice To have:

  • Oracle Database Appliance (ODA)
  • PostgreSQL
  • Experience with OPS and migration of large business critical Oracle Database environments
  • Oracle ASM
  • OFA (Oracle Flexible Architecture) guidelines
  • Oracle DataGuard
  • Oracle RMAN
  • Oracle CDB/PDB (Multitenant) Architecture
  • Oracle Database Appliance (ODA)

  • ITIL/DevOps/Agile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 7 years experience in a similar position
