    Description

    Our client, a prominent player in the Financial Services sector, is in need of a highly talented Senior Data Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines to ensure the availability and reliability of crucial data assets. Your expertise in data warehousing and hands-on experience with Hadoop components will be pivotal in optimizing our data infrastructure and supporting our business intelligence efforts.



    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer
    • Demonstrated proficiency in developing complex SQL queries and enhancing SQL performance
    • Strong familiarity with ETL toolsets and practical experience in data integration and transformation
    • Sound grasp of database technologies, including relational and non-relational systems
    • Working knowledge of Hadoop components (e.g., HDFS, Hive, Spark) and associated ecosystem tools
    • Understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices
    • Skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java) for scripting and automation
    • Effective problem-solving abilities and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
