Senior Legal Advisor - Commercial to play a crucial role in their dynamic deal structuring team.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Legal Advisor - Commercial, you will be the legal backbone of our organization, providing invaluable support in various aspects:
- Crafting legal solutions that minimize risk in complex transactions, including acquisitions and green-fields projects.
- Offering expert guidance on statutory requirements, reporting obligations, and general legal matters aligned with business needs.
- Collaborating with the deal structuring team to ensure seamless execution of deals.
- Conducting legal due diligence to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Championing accurate legal documentation and efficient communication at all levels.
Experience and Skills Required:
You are the perfect fit if you possess:
- A minimum of 5 years' post-articles experience in related fields like Private Equity, Corporate Finance, or Management Consulting.
- Proficiency in general litigation, securities law, insolvency law, and commercial law.
- A solid grasp of Company law, Tax law, and NCR.
- Indepth knowledge of finance and legal due diligence.
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions (a plus).
- Outstanding negotiation skills and proven experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A professional and courteous demeanor in all interactions.
- The ability to thrive in negotiations and engage effectively at all levels.
- Strong decisionmaking, problemsolving, and legal drafting skills.
- Presentation skills that captivate and inform.
Qualifications:
You should hold:
- An LLB degree.
- An added advantage: Postgraduate financial qualification and Admitted Attorney status.
