We are seeking an experience Senior Software Product Manager to join our growing team.


The role holder will be responsible for leading the product management service and team within a business unit accountable for multiple software product portfolios across their entire lifecycle from inception to optimal maturity and commercial value and ultimately deprecation, ensuring that the product is always optimally aligned to the needs of internal and external business stakeholder, by defining and driving effective product strategies, market and competitor analysis, product standards and commercialization.


This role will also be responsible for defining and driving the strategies, practices and continuous improvement of the product management service in collaboration with other Senior Product Managers.


Key Accountabilities:
Product Management planning, direction and analysis

  • Develops and adjusts product vision, strategy, roadmaps and propositions for multiple product portfolios, within the context of the business unit, organisation and customer's vision & strategy.
  • Provides input to the business strategy from a product perspective.
  • Serves as the single point of contact for gathering high level product requirements from customers and internal stakeholders and assess viability.
  • Motivate for product requirements to be prioritised and added to the delivery roadmap.
  • Align and influence product demand and backlog items and provide the business rationale on priorities to the business unit, internal stakeholders and customers to ensure that, over time, the needs of stakeholders are met and benefits (financial and other) are achieved.
  • Define product risks with preventative or mitigating actions for a portfolio of products in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Defines and drives adherence to product standards to ensure organisational alignment and product consistency.
  • Review all product enhancements with Product Managers and ensures the deliverables meet the expectations of customers (implement, iterate, repeat)
  • Define and analyse KPIs to provide insights and enable datadriven product decisions and recommendations based on considerations such as product ROI, profitability, adoption, utilisation and availability.
  • Analyse global market and competitor trends and decide on optimal product positioning to enable maximum ROI and market growth.
  • Determine product costs and forecast revenue potential to inform product viability and build / buy / invest decisions across a portfolio of products.
  • Align and monitor the execution of the various product marketing strategies to maximise relevance and drive revenue growth across the organisation.
Product management practices and continuous improvement

  • Develops, drives and adjusts the product management service strategy which includes people, product, services, technology, financial, etc. to future proof and provide medium term (12 years) direction that support the BU and organisational strategy and align with other product management strategies.
  • Define, continuously improve and drive adoption of the processes, technology and standards to establish optimal, companywide product management practices that aligns with industry developments and changing business requirements.
  • Accountable for ensuring that the products and features delivered by the development teams are meeting current, future and customers needs. This is achieved by working closely with the development teams
Stakeholder management

  • Establish and maintain a comprehensive stakeholder analysis and the required agreements to ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with strategic stakeholders to obtain feedback and continuously align on product portfolio's vision and strategies, trends
  • Create knowledge sharing programmes and content to ensure understanding and adoption of product management practices.
  • Promote the Product Management service amongst business stakeholders to drive awareness, support and alignment across the organisation.
  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure stakeholders adopt and realise the benefits of improvements that affect them
People Management

  • Create and execute a capability and capacity plan (Includes skills, resources and succession) to address current and future people capabilities required for the delivery of organisationwide portfolio services
