Responsibility:

  • Investigation and implementation of new initiatives to enhance the running of the department to increase collections
  • Improve the collections' function
  • Manage the call centre
  • Set targets for the Individual Collections Call Centre
  • Conduct interviews for new staff
  • Report on and forecast collections
  • Approve credit notes and refunds
  • Ensuring compliance with Cartrack Policies and Procedures Keeping the team motivated and committed to the achieving of set goals
  • Providing ongoing, continuous feedback to senior management
  • Providing ongoing, continuous guidance to consultant
  • Always promoting a good working relationship with colleagues and working towards and maintaining good working relationships with other departments
  • Always being a role model for staff and an example of how results are achieved
  • Constant monitoring of activity levels and productivity of staff
  • Generating of Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports
  • Effective management of staffrelated issues, including Performance Management and Disciplinary procedures. Approve leave, overtime and incentives monthly Requirements
  • National Senior Certificate / Grade 1
  • Distinction in Mathematics
  • Relevant Business or Engineering Degree preferred
  • 2 years minimum Call Centre Manager experience required
  • Previous Collections Industry Experience advantageous

  • Microsoft Excel
