    ImproChem is looking to recruit a Credit Controller to work in Modderfontein.

    We serve a diversity of industries including Upstream Oil & Gas Extraction and Production; Crude Oil Refining; CTL and GTL Plants; Downstream Petrochemicals; Mining; Metals; Power Generation; Paper; Sugar; Textiles; Automotive and many more.

    Duties & Responsibilities Full function credit control, including custodian of Debtors master file.
    Ensuring company & group policies are adhered to in respect of extending credit to customer & that established procedures are followed with regard to trade
    receivables.
    Ensuring that customers transact within agreed limits & terms.
    Completing credit checks & credit limit approvals for new & existing customers.
    Collections & accurate allocation of customer's payment & Debtors adjustments.
    Customer account reconciliations.
    Processing credit notes.
    Ensuring the accuracy of customer accounts to minimize bad debt & maintain the customer relationship.
    Liaising with credit management partners.
    Liaising with account managers, sales reps and RSM. Keeping them up to date with their customers credit limits, payment habits & any changes with regards to the
    aforementioned.
    Generating of debtors statements & subsequent mailing.
    Effective resolution of customer disputes & queries.
    Perform any ad hoc credit control duties. Qualifications & Experience Grade 12 or NQF equivalent.
    Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a financial environment.
    Accounts receivable qualification would be a distinct advantage.
    Good time management skills.
    An innovative approach to problem solving.
    Must be computer literate. Competencies Good communication skills.
    Attention to detail.
    Work standards.
    Team work.
    Credit Control and Customer Service orientation.
    Planning and Organizing.
