About Henry Ngozo:
I am an adult male with a 25yr experienc in casino industry and hold position as Tables Floor Manager and currently employed.
I have within these periods gained valuable knowledge and intense interest in management position. My objective is to gain more experience, exposure and insight in a working environment. To be in a no limits environment that will allow me to interact with individuals from different backgrounds and allow me to grow both professionally and personally.
My experience as a Table Floor Manager has helped me develop strong interpersonal and communication skills and helped me realize that I can make a valuable contribution to people’s lives and in the same way be able to offer my skills and professional support to any organization. I interact well with people and I am fully conversant in English, Zulu, and Setswana.
I consider myself a hard worker and a dedicated one who thrives on challenges and pressure. I am a self-motivated individual who can easily work independently but is also able to bring assignments to a success when in a team. I value truthfulness, integrity, trustworthiness, punctuality and confidentiality. I am passionate about my work and believe that I can make a valuable contribution to tables department if given a chance.
Experience
My duties as a Tables Floor Manager are and not limited for growth.
● Maintain a high level of communication and professionalism. To ensure dealers and table inspectors maintain a similar standard.
● Ensure that dealing and supervision is of a high standard.
● Supervise the opening and closing of tables. Ensure that floats correspond with the table opener.
● Maintain adequate floats by means of accurate table fills and credits, in accordance with company procedures.
● At closure of table, check wheel cover, table chips and chip summary sheet.
● Make sure all paperwork is completed legibly and accurately.
● Lock all floats and seals are in place at the close of gaming.
● Ensure that staff maintain the customer service ethic required by company policy.
● Liaise with table inspectors regarding the technical skills and attitude of dealers.
● Note lack of punctuality or failure to attend.
● Conduct appraisals on a 6 monthly basis for table inspectors and dealers.
● Anticipate customers’ needs and requirements.
● Ensure that management is made aware of customer requirements.
● Identify customers, use their names with discretion once known.
● Ensure that table inspectors control games at all times.
● Maintain awareness of the pit‘s state and inform relevant management as necessary.
● Monitor customer‘s action in order to identify the status of the customer.
● Open sufficient tables as business demands and staffing levels permit and co-ordinate the staff finishing order accordingly.
● Enter player ratings and collate information from table information sheets.
● Ensure that an objective evaluation, verbal and written, is maintained of all gaming staff.
● Endeavour to motivate and maintain staff morale at a high level.
● Maintain the pit diary by documenting all aspects of pit activity.
Personal skills:
· Customer service oriented, well developed skills in customer support, good appreciation of processes, good oral and written communication abilities, excellent interpersonal skills.
