    Description

    Very well established Construction firm in Bellville is seeking a very accurate and driven Creditors Clerk/ Administrator to join their team.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in the Construction industry before, experience on Pastel, excellent knowledge on Excel and have a minimum of 5 years experience in the role currently.

    The position is open immediately.


    Responsibilities:
    Check Invoices/Delivery Notes for inaccuracies
    Match Delivery Notes to Invoices
    Check and reconcile material suppliers and subcontractor's statements
    Preparation of fortnightly subcontractor payments
    Input data into the inhouse system
    Prepare monthly inventory lists
    Reconcile staff advances and ensure expenses are submitted in good time
    Maintain petty cash and ensuring all transactions are accompanied by relevant VAT receipts
    Assist with annual audits
    Ad-hoc administration duties when required

    Answering telephone calls and email queries from suppliers and resolving their queries in a prompt, efficient and professional manner and manage switchboard.

    Opening and distribution of daily post.

    Requirements:
    5 years Previous Accounts Payable Experience
    Basic Excel knowledge
    Excellent organisational skills
    Confidence to make decisions
    A high level of written and verbal communication skills
    Basic Word, Outlook knowledge and knowledge of databases
