    Description

    RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established engineering consulting firm in Johannesburg, is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing geotechnical engineering expertise and support on various projects in the consulting industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct geotechnical investigations and develop comprehensive engineering reports
    • Perform geotechnical analyses and provide recommendations for soil and rock foundation design
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop geotechnical designs for infrastructure projects
    • Ensure compliance with geotechnical engineering standards, codes, and regulations
    • Provide technical support during project execution and construction phases
    • Assist in the preparation of proposals, project budgets, and schedules

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
    • Strong knowledge of geotechnical investigation methods and geotechnical design principles
    • Proficiency in geotechnical software and drafting tools
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Valid driver's license
