    Description

    The Multichannel Design team is responsible for creatively actioning all print and digital design requests in line with brand CI, ensuring design deadlines are met timeously and to a high standard. Ad hoc video editing requests will also need to be actioned by the Design team in line with the brand CI.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric or equivalent.
  • Tertiary qualification in Graphic Designing.
  • South African citizen with clear credit and criminal record.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Graphic Design role.
  • Advanced knowledge: Adobe software suite, functional design.
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer and video editor.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.) and other relevant design and editing software.
  • A keen eye for design, colour, and typography, with a portfolio showcasing your creative capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    • ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A ctioning design briefs creatively:Accurately interpreting design briefs in line with brand CI.Implementing creative design ideas to design briefs.Ensuring designs are saved into correct format and is optimized.Creating standard design templates to use for future campaigns.
  • Brand CIi:Ensuring brand CI parameters are applied consistently to add designs.
  • Ensuring timely delivery of design request;Managing your time to ensure design deadlines are met.Completion of design brief to a high standard with minimal errors and rework needed.Ensuring Speedy is up-to-date with monthly marketing material.
  • Maintaining design folder;Ensure all designs are loaded onto One Drive at all times.Ensure all Open design files are loaded onto One Drive with design links folder.Proactively reviewing design folder ordering system to ensure easy navigation.Ensuring Teams folders are clean and kept up to date with latest designs.
  • Video editing:Provide video editing assistance on an ad hoc basis for video requests.
  • Proactive design change suggestions:Make suggestions for design updates that are creative.Keep abreast with latest design trends both for print and online to suggest changes to our own marketing material and platforms.
