Develop and manage the Divisional Strategy and Policies.Management of operations in the division
Coordinate and manage the divisional budgetary process
Formulate and/or periodically review the divisional Policies and Strategic Plan based on the current IT strategic plan, business plan and/or practices.
Compile divisional budget and manage expenditures
Ensure effective management of human resources.
The following minimum requirements should be met in order to be considered:
Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology.
Post Graduate qualification in IT will be advantageous.
The following relevant industry certifications will be advantageous:
- Project Management e.g. Prince 2, PMBOK Agile methodologies e.g., PMI-ACP; AgilePM; CPO; CEC; CDA Enterprise & Systems Architecture e.g., TOGAF; COBIT
Minimum:
Seven (7) years experience in a similar environment, minimum of three (3) years experience Senior Management.
Requisite Functional Competencies
Computer Literacy (MS Office).
Knowledge and experience in financial planning and forecasting.
Knowledge and understanding of Public Finance Management Act.
Knowledge and understanding of corporate governance principles including relevant national and KZN provincial government policies and procedures.
Knowledge of risk management concepts, frameworks and methodology.
Technical knowledge of computer systems.
