Description
This well-established boutique hotel wishes to appoint anAssistant Duty Manager.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be required to:
- Daytoday running of the property
- Guest relations: Assisting guests with excursions, inquiries, and external reservations and attending to complaints
- Reception functions, checking guests in and out
- General administration
- Taking of Reservations
- Setting up, assisting with preparation, and serving breakfasts to guests
- Setting up and managing small conferences
- Manage housekeeping, ensuring room attendants are allocated duties, checking all rooms daily, stock take, and ensuring general housekeeping of the property is attended to
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or similar position within a boutique hotel, guest house, lodge or hotel
- Well presented, taking pride in your appearance
- Good communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Computer literate with experience on PMS systems
- Very guestcentric, ensuring guests' experience is beyond expectation and memorable
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Able to work a 5day week including early and late shifts, over weekends and public holidays
- Have your own, reliable transport
- Have a clean work and criminal record
