ASSISTANT SPA MANAGER for Luxury and well known property in Stellenbosch.

As the Assistant Spa Manager and contribute to the success of the spa operations.

We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for wellness and hospitality to assist in managing daily spa activities and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As the Assistant Spa Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Spa Manager in achieving operational excellence and maintaining high standards of service.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Spa Manager in overseeing all aspects of spa operations, including scheduling, staffing, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with the Spa Manager to develop and implement strategic plans to drive revenue and achieve business goals.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and service standards to maintain consistency and quality of service.
  • Supervise spa staff and provide guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Assist in managing the spa reservation system, including booking appointments and coordinating schedules.
  • Monitor spa facilities and equipment to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Assist in conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to promote spa services and packages and drive revenue growth.
  • Assist in developing and implementing promotional activities, events, and special offers to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Support the Spa Manager in administrative tasks, such as budget management, reporting, and payroll processing.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar role within the spa or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of spa treatments, products, and services.
  • Familiarity with spa software and booking systems.
  • Passion for wellness and dedication to providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certification or training in spa management or hospitality management.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and revenue management.
  • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations pertaining to spa operations.
