- Ensure quality testing of manufactured goods.
- Inspect goods as they are finished.
- Examine materials from suppliers before sending them to the production line.
- Inspect components, subassemblies, and assemblies.
- Perform visual inspections.
- Perform complex tests using instruments and equipment.
- Test, measure, and analyze products.
- Take samples for testing.
- Perform inspections.
- Ensure company is meeting the standard codes in the manufacturing process.
- Record pass/fail grade of products.
- Produce detailed reports.
- Ensure the good functionality and care of dry lab equipment.
- In conjunction with CI Engineer and SHEQ Officer, keep equipment calibration updated.
- Participate in daily meetings, RCA's and other problem-solving discussions.
- Grade 12 with math's and science,
- Engineering, Production National Diploma or Equivalent preferable Chemical Engineering or Pulp and Paper Technology,
- Quality Assurance tertiary studies would be an added advantage.
