    Description

    As a Subject Matter Expert, you'll support the sales team in business development and maintaining strong client relations. Join a team that values expertise and offers opportunities for growth and development.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications (Advantageous)
    • 6+ Years experience in a Customs Brokerage Supervisor/Management role
    • Previous working experience within the Freight Forwarding/Global Logistics industry will be advantageous
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of Global Logistics Industry
    • Fully Computer literate (MS Office Suite Applications)
    • Own vehicle and valid drivers licence

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Manage and oversee all Customs Brokerage Operational Standards | ensure all classification instructions for all shipments | monitor duty deferment usage and levels | monitor license/visa applications
    • Ensure strong support structure to sales team and accompany to client meetings as Subject Matter Expert
    • Maintain strong relations with Trade Compliance Manager and support all compliance efforts and training
    • Promote Productivity Tools (edoc, process management, customs ware usage, Expo customs)
    • Audit files in accordance with AEO | Follow up refunds with customs authorities | Management of customs system
    • Reporting (client reports, expo request and reporting, duty/vat
    • Implement new system changes and enhancements
    • Staff Management | goal setting and monitor of development
