The African Leadership Academy is entering a new stage in our development as we implement our new strategy, ALA 2026.

Offering the unique ALA Diploma which is an exciting blend of Cambridge A levels, Entrepreneurial Leadership, Writing and Rhetoric, and African Studies we are committed to becoming a school to change the world.

We are looking to fill our school with vibrant and enthusiastic teachers ready for a challenge.

As a the Head of Creative Arts you will lead the Creative Arts team as they deliver outstanding A-level classes, world class co-curricular activities and the annual Umuzi arts festival, creating a vibrant community that celebrates each individual, empowering them to reach their full potential.

At ALA, we recognize that nurturing the whole individual is paramount to shaping future leaders who are not only intellectually adept but also compassionate and socially responsible.

In this role, you will help create a supportive and inclusive community, empowering students to explore their identities, navigate challenges, and build meaningful connections.

Through personalized guidance, mentorship initiatives, and engaging programming, we provide a safe and nurturing space for students to develop the social and emotional skills essential for success in today's interconnected world, and an excellent environment for staff to achieve career goals while working to guide the next generation of African leaders.
