Responsibilities:


  • Manage stock on hand with accuracy and availability across multiple distribution centers
  • Route planning for direct to customer and retail customer orders across all regions
  • Manage own and 3rd party delivery partners, driving for customer service and costeffectiveness
  • Execute on new store launches plus merchandising requests through delivery team
  • Manage freezer asset inventory and availability and maintenance requests
  • Track perfect order fulfillment and improve customer service
  • Management of 3 x delivery drivers / merchandisers
  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling and distribution of goods
  • Implement best practices for inventory control to minimise stockouts and excess inventory
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations related to distribution and transportation
  • Establish and enforce safety protocols and practices to create a safe working environment for all employees

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Distribution Manager or in a similar leadership role within the logistics and supply chain industry.
  • Strong knowledge of distribution strategies, supply chain management and inventory control.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and resultsoriented culture.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Familiarity with distribution software and systems for tracking and managing shipments.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work well under pressure
