You have experience in Solar PV electrical installations, and you have a massive passion for anything electrical and renewable energy.

What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You will be responsible for installing electrical apparatus, safety/distribution components and electronic apparatus when doing solar systems installations. You will be supporting on-site commissioning activities and the setup of monitoring systems.

You will support the maintenance manager with callouts to repair, replace or do electrical and communication fault finding on both single and 3phase systems.

You will also Install, test and commission single-phase and three-phase systems and provide an electrical COC.

You would need to successfully deliver projects by effectively communicating/reporting project progress and expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.

You will be communicating with customers on an ongoing basis, while managing variation orders and design changes as required per project.

You will be delegating tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.

Planning schedules and track project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate software will also be one of the many awesome tasks.

What you'll need

You are a qualified electrician with a wiremans license with experience in Solar PV installations - residential, commercial or industrial projects.

Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Afrikaans and English.

You need to be able to pay attention to detail and you have a passion for developing and implementing efficient processes.

You are able to effectively multitask, prioritise and meet strict deadlines. You also need to be physically fit and you must be comfortable with working at heights. You have a valid driver's licence and you must be willing to travel.
