You are an experienced and results-driven Estimator with strong knowledge of board building and estimation in the electrical field. You're looking for a growing and well established company that will offer the opportunity to learn.

What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)

You will be responsible for doing the cost estimation for the material, labour and size of the distribution boards as well as engaging with customers to understand their technical needs.

Where you'll be doing it

This role is office based, at their operations in Epping, Monday to Thursday 8am to 16:45 and Fridays till 15:30.

While this is a national company with around 400 employees, with offices also in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal, there is a small office in Cape Town of around 13 employees, the remainder of around 50 to 70 employees work in the factory.

The company manufacturers premium quality electrical related products and sell to a variety of industries. They are experiencing large growth and are constantly expanding their offerings which are also custom made. They are the leaders in their field and value their relationships with their clients and employees.

They have a nice working environment and foster a culture of development where they do look to encourage growth from within.

Quite a few employees have been there for many years.

They have a month's shut down at year end which means you'll need to accumulate your leave for that period.

What you'll need
You will need at least 2 years of experience as an Estimator within the board manufacturing sector. You will have a strong knowledge in the electrical field and experience with ERP and quoting tools. We are looking for SA Citizens only with a clear criminal and credit record.
