Is this you?
You are a born project manager with a passion for handling development projects.

You pride yourself in being able to deliver projects on time and on budget whilst working on more than one project at a time.

You're happy to work as a Consultant with the aim of the project running for at least 2 years.


What you'll be doing
This is a unique, first of its kind role within the organization.

You'll have the exciting task of taking responsibility for the full project management of the development of two properties into viable social and economic development hubs, this may include agricultural projects, SMME development, organizational capacity training and development for NGO's - one in De Aar and another in Jeffreys Bay.


You will develop and execute project implementation plans for these projects and manage the development, maintenance, and servicing of the two properties.


Your project management of the overall development and running of the two properties will be to ensure they become self-sustaining projects.

You will report directly to the CEO.


Where you'll be doing it


This is a public benefit organisation that is acquiring two properties that they'd like to develop to support the non-profit organizations and small businesses that they support through other programme activities in youth development, enterprise development, social development, and through grantmaking.

You can be based in Jeffreys Bay, De Aar, Cape Town, or Johannesburg.

It's important to note that you will be required to travel to both sites to ensure that the projects are up and running and running smoothly.

Ideally we'd love you to be based in Jeffreys Bay and travel but we're open to where you are situated if you're happy to travel.

Bring your passion to this unique project, you'll be integral in assisting to uplift the community.


You'll work with a down-to-earth team with a great boss who is really looking for someone to take this on as their "baby" and run with it.

A self-starter


What you'll need
At least 5 years relevant project management experience having managed more than one project at a time. You'll need strong stakeholder engagement and administration skills a well.

We'd like you to be able to develop the plans for these projects, come up with beneficial partnerships that will be sustainable and assist in uplifting the community.

You will need the ability and willingness to travel with a valid driver's license and own vehicle. You'll be a self-starter who is self-managed and motivated that can be trusted and is reliable. Ability to work well with budgets and deliver projects on time is crucial.
