    Description

    Agile software development engineer for real-time fraud detection solutions in clients' environments, a key member of the team responsible for the development of end-to-end solutions that integrate reliably with new and existing banking systems in the organization.

    Requirements

    1. Manages the storage of all data within the system using a relational database management system
    2. Operate as an agile software development engineer for real-time fraud detection solutions and their integration across a range of production systems.
    3. Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify and implement best-practice solutions across technologies.
    4. Develop optimal end-to-end designs that meet both business and technology requirements. (Performance, cost, sustainability, capacity, ROI).
    5. Consult, interact with, and cooperate with project managers, development teams, and vendors to ensure optimal integration with detection systems.
    6. Identify possible problem areas across technologies and identify optimal solutions for resolution.
    7. Provide expert advice to functional/ and non-functional user personnel and project teams on relevant aspects of integration with detection systems.
    8. Provide expert guidance on the resolution of problems resulting in system outages.
    9. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, identify and implement innovative new solutions

    Qualifications

    1. Minimum 7 years of varied exposure across the IT industry
    2. Enterprise-scale Wintel stack server operations
    3. Solid .Net (C#) development experience, with exposure to, and knowledge about, SOLID programming principles.
    4. Ability to use advanced SQL concepts, including User Defined Functions and User Defined Data Types
    5. Understand and be able to interpret SQL Query Plans (critical)
    6. Able to write complex stored procedures
    7. Application design skills
    8. Proficiency in web development with good CSS/Sass skills
    9. Experience with a web-based framework like Angular, React or Vue (critical).
    10. Exposure to database technologies other than MSSQL (e.g. Oracle, Informix, etc.) will be highly advantageous
    11. Agile project methodologies
    12. A deep understanding of databases at the technical level in order to design optimized processes and data structures
    13. Proficiency in building and consuming APIs (both REST and gRPC), including the use of secure ports and certificates.
    14. Database technologies other than MSSQL (e.g. Oracle, Informix, etc.)
    15. Linux (or *Nix)
    16. Docker and writing of Docker build scripts
    17. Basic shell scripting in any Windows-based scripting language
    18. Kafka or other Message queues or Service-bus technologies
    19. Azure, cloud computing
