    Your Challenge

    Objectives of this role

  • Represent the company's products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers.
  • Raise the MANN+HUMMEL profile at customer level in all market segments
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers.
  • Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field.

    • Responsibilities

  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities.
  • Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle questions objectively.
  • Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking packages, and other required documentation for management-level presentations.
  • Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product demos and presentations.
  • Coordinate with other sales representatives to ensure that quotas are being met and company standards are being upheld.
  • Support the Sales Team by attending and arranging customer events and marketing activities – occasionally outside the normal working hours
  • Ongoing customer refresher training and new product introduction.
  • Manage marketing campaigns.
  • Be up to date with current market trends and needs and communicate this back to the sales staff
  • Maintain a prescribed visit plan, customer research and visit feedback regarding region and prospective new business back to the sales team.
  • Assist the promotions team with inter alia – customer incentives / competitions or customer specific events.
  • Assist with general tasks as assigned by the Sales Head.
  • Conduct market surveys
  • Warehouse functions including packaging, warranty assessments, labelling etc.

    • Your Profile

    Required skills and qualifications.

  • Three or more years of sales experience within a similar industry.
  • Excellent demonstrable communication at all levels.
  • Ability to "Cold Call"
  • Interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with sales management software and CRM, (Salesforce)
  • Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
  • Punctual, reporting, market trends and needs feedback.
  • Customer Service Excellence.

    • Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years sales experience in a similar role.
  • Matric or higher qualification
  • Computer literacy MS Systems
  • Proven success rate at levels above sales quota.
  • Ability to travel within South Africa and the greater SADC region.
  • Unendorsed drivers licence
  • Own reliable transport
