    Description

    A prestigious platinum mining company is currently looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineering Foreman to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment at the mining site.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and coordinate the mechanical maintenance team
    • Plan and schedule preventative maintenance activities
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
    • Monitor and analyze equipment performance and make recommendations for improvements
    • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment history

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in a mechanical maintenance role
    • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
    • Mechanical trade qualification
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Knowledge of the platinum mining industry is preferred
