    Description

    Our client is seeking the services of a Bookkeeper / Accountant to join their team, based in East London.

    Minimum Requirements:-

    • Proof of qualifications advantageous (Diploma, Degree, Articles, etc. in Accounting / Bookkeeping)
    • Pastel, Payroll, Caseware and E-filing knowledge is non-negotiable
    • Ability to multi-task; fast-paced position
    • Must be able to work independently and take responsibility for work performed
    • Minimal overtime required (only in tax season)
    • Driver's license + own transport essential

    Duties:-

    • Processing of monthly and annual clients
    • Compilation of management reports
    • Processing of various clients' payroll
    • PAYE / VAT submissions on E-filing
    • Compilations of financial statements
    • Calculation of personal and companies income tax
    • Income tax submissions
    • Some admin related tasks relating to respective clients
