    ROLE DESCRIPTION: The Commercial Modeler and Pricing Specialist is in charge of creating and managing financial models to assist with technical Tenders/RFQs, Quotations, strategic decision-making, and analyzing commercial contracts to maximize profitability. Reporting directly to the Senior Commercial Manager for Sales, this role collaborates with departments such as Business Operations, Procurement, and Finance. Supporting the sales team by generating accurate, insightful commercial models that reflect precise costs, benchmarking, and profitability, while considering all cost impacts.

    • Develop, maintain, and update pricing models to aid the sales & marketing team in tenders, proposals, business planning, valuation, and decision-making.
    • Review tender requirements and pricing models to create a responsive commercial/pricing model aligned with client needs, meeting business objectives, and achieving Revenue, GPs, and commercial targets.
    • Analyze intricate data sets and financial information to provide precise and timely financial recommendations to management.

    Commercial Analysis:
    Manage and present commercial models to pinpoint areas for increased profitability or risk reduction.
    Report on all commercial matrices, covering revenues, margins, benchmarking, and quarterly and annual projections.

    Track all Software and workplace requests/calls efficiently.

    Engage with stakeholders:
    Deliver financial and commercial analysis, along with client financial models, to internal stakeholders, including senior management, for informed business decisions.

    Compliance and Reporting:
    Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
    Generate necessary monthly and quarterly reports.

    Skills:
    Proficiency in Advanced Excel.
    Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    Technical proficiency or understanding is advantageous.

    Salary: R650,000 per annum CTC
