The appointed Global Campaign and Communications Coordinator will form part of a Global Brand and Design team, which essentially operates as our own in-house Brand and Design agency.

The Global Campaign and Communications Coordinator will form part of a vibrant, innovative and multi-disciplinary team, and will work alongside the Head of the Global Brand & Design team as well as work closely with the HR and Talent Acquisition Teams, the Product and local Marketing teams with an internal communication as well as an external communications and campaign coordination aspect.


The internal communications aspect of this role will involve working with and collaborating with various teams across the business to obtain information to be shared and promoted internally for the likes of our People's Post (our internal newsletter), obtain and share information on our MAD awards (internal awards), obtain information and collate info for the monthly Q&A, promote and publicize group benefits internally, clean up and manage the company's group Team's channel, liaise with various recruitment platforms, manage social media for people related posts/sharing and promoting information on KCS as an employer of choice, gather info and welcome our new starts on social media, manage LinkedIn Life pages to promote our company culture and any other activities relating to communicating and sharing of information with employees and promoting KCS as an employer of choice internally as well as externally.


We want to attract new talent and retain existing talent - this role will focus on all communications that revolve around staff, that inform staff and that share our value proposition internally as well as externally, promoting KCS as an employer of choice.


The external campaign and communications aspect relates to taking on a new approach with our messaging so we are seen as one big global business with a unified message for all products and solutions, but with local voices and tones.


This role will be integral to how information is obtained and shared across the business internally and externally, as we focus more on our people, strive towards becoming an employer of choice and share our value proposition.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with relevant HR and Talent Acquisition Stakeholders across the globe to support the business' peoplerelated requirements for communications
  • Promote KCS as an employer of choice internally and externally
  • Gather and collate information that needs to be shared across the business, whether that be for our internal newsletter or for our monthly Q&A, sharing of company benefits etc.
  • Manage peoplerelated social media posts for exp welcoming our new starts and sharing information on KCS as an employer of choice
  • Support the HR and Talent Acquisition teams with any designrelated requirements whether that be flyers for career fairs, internal brochures, brochures about KCS as an employer, social posts etc.
  • Product teams to provide info on the latest and most uptodate product information, which will be created in conjunction with the brand and design team, to be shared with local marketing teams
  • Run a global campaign calendar
  • Coordinate global campaigns

Key Requirements:


  • Communications qualification
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and the management of people and companyrelated posts (not product/events etcpurely peoplerelated content and content about the company)
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Life pages
  • Minimum 3 years experience as internal communications coordinator
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a campaign coordinator
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills
  • Experience in working with product marketing
  • Experience in working with global stakeholders
  • Experience in obtaining, collating and sharing information internally
  • Manage and interact with different stakeholders
  • Able to gather information and share in a creative and fun way
