- Evaluate current policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Monitor and report on risk management activities to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management initiatives.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on risk management best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in risk management.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in risk management, preferably in a Mining environment or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles, frameworks, and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Professional certification in risk management is a plus.
