    1: Reason for the role

    We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Engineer to join our engineering team.

    The Junior Engineer will work closely with Engineering Managers to support various engineering projects and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions.

    The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for engineering.


    2: Summary of Duties:
    Assist engineering managers in the design, development, and testing of engineering projects and effective maintenance programs.

    Conduct research and analysis to support equipment maintenance planning and decision-making.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and develop engineering solutions.

    Assist in the preparation of engineering reports, documentation, and technical drawings.

    Perform engineering calculations and simulations to evaluate design feasibility and performance.

    Support the implementation and testing of engineering systems and equipment.

    Conduct inspections and quality control checks on all engineering tasks to ensure compliance with engineering standards and specifications.

    Troubleshoot technical issues and propose effective solutions to ensure equipment reliability and achieving OEE.

    Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in engineering technology.

    SCOPE:

    Main Duties:

    Process management:
    Document and release engineering change reports;

    monitor production procedures and end products.

    Check that every Process has the ability to sustain production.

    Create standards for the production line.

    Improve material and product flow in the plant by optimizing the layout.

    Production:


    Verify that the proper start-up procedures are followed and that the equipment is operational at the beginning of the shift.

    Ensure that all reporting on production and machine downtime is completed.

    Keep an eye on scrap and reject levels, and make sure goals are reached.

    Help the production manager with ad hoc initiatives.

    The work of programming.

    Quality:
    Create a manufacturing system to guarantee that product quality is maintained.

    Ensure the quality standards are maintained.

    Propose and implement productivity enhancements programs.

    4: Job Requirements

    4.1 Education

    Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical Field)

    Trade Tested

    -+3 years of relevant engineering experience

    Working towards achieving G.C.C (factories) within 3 years

    Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as CAD, MATLAB, or similar programs.

    Previous experience in a similar role or manufacturing industry would be advantageous.

    Strong knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and concepts.

    Solid understanding of technical drawings and specifications.

    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

    Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

    Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

    Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

    Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and engineering practices.

    Familiarity with project management methodologies.

    Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards.
