Job Description:
Derivco South Africa is seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Resource Planner to be part of our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding the levels of urgency and gather relevant information to enable the scheduling of deployments.
- Schedule all deployments to ensure work is allocated optimally based on priority and team capacity.
- Confirm the allocation of work with teams and ensure a general notice is circulated amongst stakeholders to ensure awareness of deployment activities.
- Review deployment request information and feed back to requestors on any nonconformance to ensure all deployments meets the requirements of the organisation's change management process and SLA's for scheduling.
- Monitor and track the project team's time logging to ensure time is logged correct for accurate billing and costing.
- Receive, raise and communicate priority calls from internal and external stakeholders to create awareness and prioritise workload
- Review, identify and communicate high risk deployments to identify and create awareness of potential conflicts.
- Knowledge, Practices and Continuous Improvement
- Reviews performance measures relevant to own work to suggest improvement and personal development opportunities.
- Reports issues and risks identified when following team practices (processes, tools, methods, standards) to support continuous improvement.
Key Skills:
- Minimum Qualification: Matric
- ITIL Foundation is advantageous.
- 12 years' experience in a planning or coordination role
