    Job description

Are you an Early Years Practitioners and Educators who can be flexible in supporting our brand-new nursery? Flexible job role within our nursery where you will quickly become part of the team and really understand our ethos and approach.

Little Grange is a brand-new Nursery facility, which opened in August 2022, for children aged 6 months – 5 years, in the grounds of Bilton Grange and forming a part of the Rugby Schools group. Little Grange has a capacity of 81 and will be open 51 weeks through the year from 8-6pm. The Nursery buildings are undergoing a whole-scale refurbishment programme, ensuring that the facility is of the highest quality for our youngest children, including some wonderful 'wow' features that will have a real impact on the day-to-day experience for the children. A temporary facility will be in place until the autumn whilst the build takes place. The children in Little Grange will benefit hugely from the 90 acres of outdoor space, a parkland of nationally designated beauty.

We are absolutely determined that Little Grange will be the highest quality of setting for this age group and will grow a reputation for being the standout Nursery care provider in the region. We have an uncompromising vision for our children and look forward to seeking the very best individuals to ensure this vision is put into practice when we open our doors for the first time.

We are looking for Nursery Practitioners to join our bank staff team, to be available to work during our working day 8am-6pm Monday - Friday. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about early years and who recognises the difference they can make to the children and families they will be working with. The successful candidate will be able to positively interact and support children in their play, fostering their enthusiasm for learning by offering experiences and activities that are challenging but achievable.

You will get to work in all our rooms with children from 6 months to 5 years. You will get to know the children, our routines and be able to make a real impact on children's lives.

In order to provide a safe and secure environment for children in our care the post holder will be responsible for implementing the policies and procedures of the nursery. They will also need to be able to follow EYFS statutory regulations.

Ideally you will have a full and relevant early years qualification, but you may have lots of childcare experience that you can bring to the role. You will be able to demonstrate your capability and creativity in your approach to working with and caring for young children.

We are currently experiencing high levels of interest in our amazing nursery so we need flexible people who can support the nursery while we recruit permanent staff, cover when staff are on training or taking well-earned annual leave. By letting us know your availability we can rota you in to support the nursery. The greater your flexibility the more hours there will be. There may be times when we can't give you much notice and hope that you will be our knight in shining armour to help us out, but these are rare occasions.
