    Our client, a leading South African company within the
    hazchem related training, equipment and transport
    industry is seeking a Sales Executive to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng.


    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
    To grow and manage customer relationships within the group by acquiring new business and maintenance of existing accounts
    .


    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
    Ability to prospect and build a sales pipeline
    Follow up on sales leads and arrange meetings with clients
    Ability to go beyond the call of duty and exceed sales targets
    Cold calling on potential clients and existing clients
    Maintaining client database and ensuring visibility and support at all times
    Complete CRM for each call
    Ability to build and maintain great client relationships
    Retention of existing client base
    Candidate Requirements
    SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

    Matric pre-requisite
    1-2 years' work experience in internal & external sales
    Ability to work independently and good customer service
    Energetic, innovative proactive thinker
    High level of flexibility and adaptability
    Computer proficiency- MS Word, Excel
    Must be willing to work flexible hours when required
    Drivers License essential (90% Travelling)
    Required Skills
    Internal Sales : 1 to 2 years
    External Sales Experience : 1 to 2 years
    Excellent Cold Calling Skills : 1 to 2 years
