Objectives of Role:
Programmes
- Support in the planning and execution of Allan Gray Makers programme recruitment cycles
- Provide input into marketing collateral and PR strategy
- Analyse selection programme success
- Review and revise selection process design
- Application Assessment shortlist
- Implement Entrepreneurial intention survey
- Assess Entrepreneurial intention survey
- Provide input into marketing campaigns
- Ensure that selection presentations are updated in line with new campaign material
- Design and schedule regional recruitment plans based on programmes calendar
- Conduct a followup SMS campaign with potential applicants
- Keep database accurate and up to date
- Conduct interviews with shortlisted applicants
- Develop, plan and facilitate activities at selection camps
Strategic Management
- Provide Input into overall Allan Gray Makers Selection & Recruitment strategy and how best to make it more impactful including assessing how we could adopt various approaches in collaboration with the Recruitment & Selection Manager.
- Conduct the analysis of previous recruitment success
- Conduct the review and revision of recruitment strategy
Stakeholder Management
- Scoping of additional recruitment partners/stakeholders and other institutional and implantation partners for the programme and programme elements
- Create awareness at relevant Expos
- Maintain major recruitment relationships of interest to Allan Gray Makers within the entrepreneurship Incubator/Accelerator sector manage varying expectations and communicate effectively with all relevant institutional and individuals
- Improve the relationship quality with strategic partners
- Liaise with relevant recruitment partners on campaigns to be implemented on campus
- Maintain and enhance internal stakeholder relations
- Ensure that a stakeholder communication feedback loop is established and implemented
Analysis & Reporting
- Collate and analyse relevant information and support the Selection Manager in preparing quarterly and annual reports
Annual Budgets/Financial Management
- Assist Selection Manager in developing annual operational budget
- Manage costs against approved budget
- Compile budget reportbacks
Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum qualification
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Minimum experience
- 3 years relevant experience in selection and recruitment within an Accelerator or Incubator.
Preferred qualification
- Development Studies, Entrepreneurship, Curriculum Development, or another relevant field
Preferred experience
- High level of computer literacy.
- Experience within the entrepreneurship space is advantageous
- Extensive travel
- Extended hours and weekend work when required
- Johannesburg based is an essential.
