Diploma or degree in procurement / Supply Chain/ Business Management or CIPS

3-5 years relevant experience Role Competencies FMCG, Manufacturing sector and/ or Engineering purchasing experience essential

Purchase engineering spares, raw materials, bottles, cartons, labels, etc., for the Nasrec plant and production process.
Follow up on orders and their deliveries daily, coordinating with the receiving clerk and suppliers for timely delivery.
Liaise closely with the Production Planner to place orders for direct goods based on forecasted requirements.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth procurement processes.
Identify and onboard new suppliers to explore costsaving opportunities and strengthen the supply chain.
Collaborate with the Quality Control team to approve new suppliers for the supply of goods or raw materials.
Assist the marketing department with Research and Development (RND) projects, ensuring timely completion of artwork or amendments.
Conduct monthend reconciliation checks for purchase orders before payment, coordinating with the accounts department.
Assist in managing indirect spend purchase orders, especially for engineering spares.
Collaborate with the Procurement Manager to optimize purchasing processes and strategies.
