JOB DESCRIPTION:


We are a fast paced car rental company looking for hardworking, innovative and responsible individuals to join our dynamic team.

Our current vacancy is a motor mechanic position.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:


  • Perform service, repair, and maintenance on vehicles
  • Mechanical and Electronic Diagnostics
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Diagnosing and fault finding on all vehicle types
  • Overhauling and repairing engines on all vehicle types


  • Completing reports

  • Computer skills are essential.

Education and/or Experience

Minimum required:

  • 57 years experience in diagnostics and fault finding on motor vehicles
  • Valid driver's license
  • Trade test motor mechanic (red seal)

KNOWLEDGE ON:


  • Suspension and Steering
  • Heating & Air Conditioning
  • Brakes
  • Engine Repair & Engine Performance
  • Electrical/Electronic Systems

SKILLS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

  • Presentable appearance and sober habits
  • Excellent timekeeping skills
  • No criminal record
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to train coworkers
  • Strong troubleshooting and faultfinding skills
  • A working understanding of electrical DBs and wiring
  • Experience with diagnostics equipment and ECU's
  • Computer literate
  • Strong technical background
  • Be able to work in a team environment
  • Set high standards and welldefined realistic goals both personally and within the team
  • Should be able to carry out work by professional standards and have thorough knowledge in the field
Diver's license is COMPULSORY

Stipulated salary is gross


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to R15,000.00 per month
