We are looking for strong, hardworking individuals that have a strong work ethic. Our growth has opened the vacancy of a Security Officer position.

This position is responsible for professional security protection, safeguarding, safety, and security of assets, property, staff and all visitors, within the immediate vicinity of the Property.


Requirements:


  • Drivers license
  • Must have a smart phone to take pictures
  • Must have Security officer experience
  • Fire Arm compentancy would be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that no unauthorized goods are allowed to leave or enter the premises
  • Have a full working knowledge of all security equipment in use i.e., hand held metal detectors, walkie talkies, Bag Scanners ect
  • Ensure that any suspicious circumstances/persons are immediately reported to the Manager on shift
  • Deal with all fire arms/dangerous weapons in accordance with the company's operating procedures
  • Search/scan all Employees in accordance with the company's operating procedures
  • Immediately report any deficiencies in the car park operation, i.e. lights not working, Alert and in good physical health
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Monitor and protect property against criminal activity and damage
  • Calm courteous and professional
  • Will be Required to drive on odd occasions
  • Moving vehicles in and out of workshop
  • Take pictures of vehicles on phone
  • Checking vehicles and customers in upon bookings.
  • Leaving with the last person.

Working hours :
Monday - Friday 6am - 6pm

Will be required to work some Saturdays as requested.


Salary:
Up to R5,000.00 per month
