What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone to head up and build a strong sales team for our expanding out of home advertising inventory portfolio
What you will do:
Direct clients
- Identifying new and potential clients/lead generation through research, existing relationships and social media etc.
- Preparing of sales presentations and presenting to clients
- Managing the sales process from presentation to contract to after sales, including sales proposals and advertising contracts, negotiate terms of agreement and closing deals
- Liaising with third party service providers (suppliers of printing and flighting) to ensure client service standards are met
- Managing the sales pipeline and inventory bookings
- Timeously following up on renewals
- Building on client relationships and maintaining key client accounts
- Reporting to management with weekly reports on progress using specific software provided by employer
Advertising Agencies
***- Building strong relationships with key personnel at advertising agencies
- Preparing of sales presentations and presenting to advertising agencies
- Drafting of presentations in individual agency templates
- Effectively responding to briefs/calls placed by advertising agencies
- Always meeting brief deadlines
- Following up on briefs with advertising agencies
- Managing the sales process (from contract to after sales)
- Liaising with third party service providers (suppliers of printing and flighting) to ensure client service standards are met
- Managing daytoday sales admin (following up on contract signatures, agency media CI's and production PO's, providing material specs etc.) and providing proof of flighting pictures
- Timeously following up on renewals
- Managing sales pipeline and inventory bookings
- Building on client relationships and maintaining key client accounts
- Effectively building the employer brand and goodwill with advertising agencies
- Reporting to management with weekly reports on progress using specific software provided by employer
What you must have:
- Have at least five years' experience in outofhome advertising sales
- Proven track record of experience in dealing and building strong relationships with advertising agencies from briefs to contract closeout
- Have experience in dealing and building strong relationships with direct clients
- Selfstarter requiring mínimal supervision
- Ideally Durbanbased or at least have a good understanding of the Durban outdoor market
