Experience

I have built a diverse and well-rounded professional background across legal practice, media production, and business operations. In 2025, I joined Boulder Media BV (Netherlands), a fully remote television production company, initially as a Sales Manager before being promoted to Editor for a nationally broadcast show. This role strengthened my self-discipline, initiative, time management, and ability to communicate ideas effectively within a culturally diverse team.

From 2023 to 2025, I completed my articles at Espag Magwai Attorneys in Polokwane, rotating across several departments and working closely with Partners. I gained practical experience in legal research, file management, and weekly presentations, developing a strong interest in commercial work. Most of my time was spent in the Commercial Property Financing Department under direct supervision of senior practitioners, where I worked extensively with LexisConvey and conducted daily Deeds Office visits. I have completed both final board exams and intend to write the conveyancing exam next year.

Between 2017 and 2023, I worked under the mentorship of Mr. S. Ayob across multiple companies within the Mica Group, gaining comprehensive hands-on experience in management, administration, and business operations. At Silvermist Resort, I oversaw staff, animal care, equestrian breeding and sales, office administration, orchard management, and GlobalG.A.P. compliance. I contributed to operations within the Dulux business as part of the management team, implementing systems for creditors and debtors, stock control, procurement, and staff management. I also supported the establishment of Habibi Restaurant and Pancake House, training staff, setting up operational systems, and managing stock, accounts, and front-of-house procedures. These varied roles taught me adaptability, multitasking, and effective leadership, giving me a broad skill set that complements my legal training.
