Yanga Mzimvubu

I am a second year student with diverse skills and interests. In addition to my studies, I offer freelance hairdressing services, putting my passion for beauty and styling to good use. I am also dedicated to healthy living, maintaining my fitness through regular exercise and applying the principles of discipline and focus in all areas of my life. I have developed strong communication and time management  skills that make me a reliable and capable team player. 

I have gained valuable hands-on experience in the hospitality industry through practical assignments during my culinary studies. Most recently, I completed a four-month chef trainee program at Protea Hotel, where I gained valuable skills and knowledge in the kitchen. These work experiences along with my classroom learning, have provided me with a strong foundation in the industry and have fueled my passion for cooking and customer service.  

I am currently in my second year of study in Hospitality management and professional cookery at Cape Peninsula University Of Technology, working toward a Diploma in hospitality management. My studies to date have provided me with theoretical knowledge in hospitality management and practical training in professional cooking techniques, helping me to develop a well -rounded skill set in the hospitality industry. My ongoing education is a testament to my commitment to advancing my knowledge and career.
