As a seasoned telco professional, I have been in the IT and telecommunications industry for over twenty years specialising in marketing, research, strategy development and consultative sales. I have used my experience and insight to become a leading professional in the telecoms industry. I started my career in marketing for an IT company and then moved on to the Internet industry when it was still in its infancy. I contributed significantly to the development of research in the Internet industry before leaving to join another exciting area in the telecoms field that is the telecoms vendor (OEM) industry. I have been involved in Business Consulting to major mobile operators in Africa and in recent roles; I have been responsible for consulting sales, business development and strategy to regional operators across Africa. I have travelled extensively around the African continent in my various roles. I hold various professional qualifications including an undergraduate Law degree, a Postgraduate degree in International Relations and a Postgraduate diploma in Management specialising in Marketing. I completed my MBA degree in 2012 with six distinctions. In my most recent role as an entrepreneur, I have grown my business interests into successful ventures in various industries including manufacturing, energy and telecommunications.
