I am an Industrial and Organisational Psychology professional with a strong passion for people, data-driven HR practice, and organisational development. With an Honours degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology and registration with the HPCSA as a Psychometrist (Independent Practice), I bring both technical expertise and a human-centred approach to my work.
I currently serve as an HR Officer at Lenmed Wilmed Park Private Hospital, where I support key HR functions including labour relations, recruitment and selection, employee administration, and HR reporting. I work closely with unions and management to maintain healthy employee relations, ensure compliance with labour legislation, and facilitate effective dispute resolution. I also monitor HR metrics—such as absenteeism, turnover, and engagement—to provide insights that inform strategic decision-making.
My professional strengths include conflict resolution, communication, analytical thinking, psychometric assessment, and the ability to navigate complex organisational dynamics. I am proficient in HR systems such as UKG (Kronos) and Sage 300, and I have experience coordinating Employment Equity and Skills Development initiatives.
I am committed to continuous development, having completed training in 16PF and GeneSys Online assessments, and I have been selected for the 2026 Master’s Programme in Industrial and Organisational Psychology at North-West University.
Driven, curious, and people-focused, I am passionate about creating workplaces where individuals can thrive—while supporting the organisation’s goals through ethical, evidence-based HR practice.
Experience
With an Honours degree in Industrial and Organisational Psychology and registration with the HPCSA as a Psychometrist (Independent Practice), I bring both technical expertise and a human-centred approach to my work.I plan and execute recruitment and selection practices that meet employment equity requirements and help secure suitable candidates to meet workforce needs. I also manage employee administration by maintaining accurate employee records, ensuring compliance, and providing necessary administrative support. In addition, I monitor HR metrics such as absenteeism, turnover, and employee engagement to provide insights that inform strategic HR and business decisions.
Education
I completed a BCom Honours in Industrial and Organisational Psychology at North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, from February 2024 to November 2024. Before that, I obtained a BCom in Industrial and Organisational Psychology with Labour Relations at the same institution, completing the program from January 2021 to December 2023.
