My name is Thulani Simelane I hold a BEd Degree, am an enthusiastic graduate who aims to bring about transformation to education and the discipline. Ability to think logically to solve problems. Possessing an excellent communication skill as well as able to communicate professionally with people at all levels and adapt quickly to new environment. Resolute, collaborator, punctual, hardworking, willing, and eager to learn new tasks or skills quickly.

History, Psychology, Life Orientation and other flexible subjects to teach are, Business studies, Economics and Tourism FET and Senior Phase.

I am ready to make a change to our community by empowering learners to excel greatly in subjects mentioned above. I realized while I was still at high school that a majority of learners lose interest  in these subjects because of failure of teachers to inspire, and failure to present these subjects in a fun and exciting way that stimulates critical thinking and problem solving skills which are highly required for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. I believe that contextualizing these subjects is necessary to improve the performance of learners. My pedagogy is a combination of different approaches that I observed and learned from different teachers and lecturers throughout my schooling journey. I believe that an opportunity to teach will also enable me to grow as an educator.

I did a BEd Degree in FET and Senior Phase, at the University of Johannesburg. MY majors are Psychology, Life Orientation and History FET, I can also teach Business studies, Economics and Tourism (FET). I have completed Computer Skills Development Program, University of Johannesburg and Teacher Choice in Action, University of Johannesburg. I have Umalusi (Matric), completed at Vukuqhakaze Secondary School Subjects: isiZulu home language, English first additional language Mathematical literacy, Business studies, Economics, Tourism and Life Orientation
