Description

A well-established entity operating in the Entertainment sector is looking for a Snr Financial Controller with strong reporting and Tax experience to join their financial team ASAP.

Qualifications:

Bcom Finance Degree with completed SAICA articles + 4 years' experience minimum
Good understanding of the full accounting cycle
Excellent English language skills (speaking and writing)
Professional reporting and presentation writing skills
Must work well in a team as well as independently
Must have good communication skills and telephone etiquette
Must be able to attend to matters urgently when required
Experience on Xero and/or DEAR Inventory will be advantageous

Experience:

Compile advanced Reporting packs
Reporting on Budget and forecast
Coordination and preparation of various reports and presentations
Preparation of Audit file
Financial Analysis
BBBEE calculations and cost monitoring
Advanced Excel (nonnegotiable)
Advanced Accounting understanding and capabilities
Understanding and implementation of accounting transactions to AFS level
Preparation of PAYE, VAT and Provisional Tax returns
