T Bastiaans

My name is Tania Bastiaans, born and raised in Southern Africa and currently working as an Interior Designer at Palatial Interior Studio. 

I am artistic, ambitious, and a creative problem solver with a background in print production, space planning, project management and interior architectural designs. I own Palatial Interior Studio in Namibia and have plenty of projects throughout Africa. With over 10 years of experience in the management, creative, and design industry, and proven track record in managing and executing projects from start to finish, I make an excellent addition to any design team. With strong attention to detail, I always ensure that I keep to the highest standards and maintain client expectations.

I have gained work experience in various areas in Africa, Europe, and United Kingdom. I have such a passion for travelling and exploring new cultures, languages and design styles. I love taking on new opportunities and obtaining new experiences. I describe my style as bold, clean, stylish, and unique. I love juggling multiple responsibilities, keep clients happy, and transform any space into something magical. Whilst working and travelling in Europe I had the opportunity to learn languages like Greek, Italian, and Dutch on a basic level.

Most of my current projects are based in Zimbabwe, working on high-end residential and commercial projects stretching over 3000 square meters in total. My long-term vision is to maintain my interior design projects in Africa and import all furniture from Europe whilst working in the Netherlands.

I love incorporating new design methods to create world-class and ergonomic living and working spaces on all my projects therefore I am seeking new opportunities to enhance my creativity and would really love the opportunity to work with you and for your company in Netherlands and gain many new experiences as an Interior Designer or Property Stylist. 

I have gained various work experiences and worked my way from the bottom to where I am now, business owner of a Interior Design Studio. I have started my professional career in South Africa working at Easylife Kitchens, designing kitchens, bathrooms and wardrobes. I have spent a few months in Europe working on Yachts to broaden my vision and language skills. I then moved back to Namibia to start my career in Interior Design. Starting of as an intern and moving up to the senior interior designer. After feeling I've gained enough experience at one the of the most leading Architects Firms in Namibia I started my own Interior Design Company and have been growing ever since. I am also a co owner of a property management and development company. 

I have obtained various educational certificates, the most relevant being the Business Administration & Project Management Diploma and Interior Design, Landscape Design and Property Styling Degree.
