Nhlakanipho Ndlela

I am a qualified mining engineer from the University of Witwatersrand. I would describe myself as an open-minded individual who is focused on development and optimization in the workplace. I believe that everything can always be done simpler and more effective without compromising any values to an organization, especially in mining environments where safety is a major concern. I have proven to be effective and adaptive in different learning and working environments, with proficiency in team-building and collaborative work. I enjoy brainstorming and co-ordinating efforts and perspectives to achieve a set goal.

I was involved in a 3 month vacation work program at Sibanye Stillawter Gold Operations located in the Westonaria region. During this time I was exposed to underground gold mining with trained professionals in Planning, Rock Engineering, Safety, Finance, Exploration and Ventilation. I completed the project and was awarded a medal and trophy for participation in the 2022 Sibanye Stillwater graduate Seminar. 

I am in possession of a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering degree. I obtained this degree on 13 December 2022 With an overall average of 66%.
