I have +7 years of experience as a full-time history, English, maths, and maths lit teacher at a high school. During this time, I have set exam papers, graded them, moderated them, marked grade 12 exams, been a class teacher, and arranged countless extra-curricular activities. All of these things, and more, I do on a daily basis. My time with them has allowed me to become an amateur therapist, advent reader, a life-long learner, a diplomatist, and an admirer of human history. Facts are important, information is power. Moreover, I have been to the USA, Canada, Kenya, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Thailand as a tourist during school holidays. I'm not afraid to push the horizons of my sanity, and safety to have a thrill and challenge the beats that is the unknown. It may interest you that I have written over 200 poems, not been published yet. Lastly, I'm not religious but spiritual, which allows me to believe in people and their capacity to be masters of their own destiny regardless of their murky past.

Experience

Firstly, I studied for 2 degrees and attained them. The formal education and insight I got from them changed how I thrived teaching as I was a master at human behavior. I could handle parents, disgruntled colleagues, and students. I treated my students as case studies. I teach over 220 students per day. Each is unique and requiring insight, and skill in dealing with them. I currently teach in a challenging society with 1 in every 3 learners aspiring to be a gangster or already one. Through it all, I thrive and have time to spare to pursue my hobby of chairing AA meetings every Wednesday.
