I am a dedicated employee, I pride myself on a hard working ethic,  an honest approach to everything I do, I balance empathy with the needs of the buisness and expect the best for the customer, i strive to instill a sense of pride of workplace in my staff and a customer focused mentality. I am always straight forward with what the company requires to succeed and look for individual stregnths to form a cohesive team and team spirit. I lead by example and never hesitate to add the extra mile, the extra hour, the extra effort to ensure our goals are exceeded. I have worked in a number of industries and currently supervise Facility Maintenance and Production Services across  5 rail Depot Facilities with contracts in the 100s of millions of Rand. I am always looking for improvements to current processes and bring both technical practical skills with Supervisory managerial practise. I am equally adept and currently be prepared to attend the board room multiple times per week , manage staff, design installations, manage contractors, review processes and if needs be get in a forklift or pick up tools , carry out repairs and assist where necessary should the staff require a lead in order to carry out the task. I have both local and international  experience in the high end Service and Hospitality  industry , the high end leisure Industry, Retail and Operations, Heavy Industry and world leading large public transportation industry as well as offshore rescue and volunteering work. I work hard, i participate in sports and am active outside work. I am currently in the UK but wish to relocate back to South Africa as soon as possible, I have a SA passport and ID book. 

I currently Supervise Facilities Maintenance and Production Services across 5 Rail depots with contracts in the 100s of millions of Rands.

 2013 to present 

Prior to this I Supervised a team if Technical Engineering analysts and a team of reactive top end engineers scrutinising the performance of individual components of a fleet of over 170 EMU , electrified motor unit  trains accross 5 depots in the UK.

2010 to 2013

Prior to this I was in the role of Harbour master and engineer for a large super yacht harbour marina. I also spent many years as an offshore rescue crew member with the Royal National Lifeboat Instutution working from inshore, off shore and rescue helecopters.

2004 to 2010

 Prior to this I worked in numerous high end properties as chef de cuisine. 

1999 to 2004

Prior to this I worked as Operations Manager in the Western Cape along with other managerial roles. 

1996 to 1999

Fully qualified  Electrical Installation Engineer with testing and Inspection with ECS Gold card recognition. 

Construction site Regulations and Managent of Health and Safety. 

Various practical certification from Fork Lifft operator, mobile Access towers and equipment, scaffold build and inspect, legionella responsable person etc

Ascociates degree in Management Hospitality

Diploma in mangement finance and accounting
