I am an admitted attorney with extensive research skills and proven ability in knowing and applying various Rules, Prescripts and Statutory Legislation. I have experience at middle management in the Public Sector for a period of six (6) years and currently 31 officials are reporting directly to me.

 I attended Law School and practiced as an attorney for a period of 2 years. I have excellent knowledge of Human Resource Management; Managing of facilities and coordinating Security aspects. 

I am a hard working individual and like to work independently, but can also encourage people to work together as a team and deliver the necessary services or to finalise a project.

Experience

I worked as an attorney and practiced for about two years. Thereafter I was acting as a Registrar at the High Court, which entailed the following: All quasi-judicial functions; Asset Management; Vehicle Management and supervising total of 27 staff members. Provide support to the judges , staff, public and internal and external stakeholders.

Thereafter, I was appointed as Judges Secretary and provide secretarial and administrative support to the respective judges. I received a better job offer as a law researcher and continued my journey to provide professional legal research and assistance to the judges of the court. Providing legal research to other courts and judges in South Africa.

Currently, I am the office manager of the President and this includes: Provide strategic support to the President of the Supreme Court of Appeal; Provide complex research and manage research submitted to the President of the Supreme Court of Appeal; Manage the Judges’ Secretaries and other designated staff; Render quasi-judicial duties to the Supreme Court of Appeal; Enabling the President to effectively execute quasi-judicial duties as outlined in the SCA rules and set out in the Superior Courts Act 10 of 2013; Draft speeches; Planning organizing & prioritizing duties and resources to ensure effective service delivery within the court; Data Collection and Safety and Security matters.
