About Sindy van Deventer:
Currently residing in Port Alfred, Eastern Cape Province, I am a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual with a high level of business acumen and over 22 years of practical working experience. I hold a BCom Business Management degree from The Da Vinci Institution, as well as a NQF Level 5 National Higher Certificate in Banking from Cornerstone Institute. I have successfully completed a Property Law and Conveyancing Course at The South African School of Paralegal Studies.
My expertise lies in successfully directing business growth with in-depth market knowledge and experience gained throughout my career. Offering a broad skillset with in-depth in-the-field experience of Account Management, Building and Development Administration, Customer Relations, as well as Service Management, and Management Reporting.
My segment experience includes Team Leadership, Home Financing, Loans Processing, and Data/Information Management. I have much to offer in my diversity of experience and profession, through the various industries I have developed and sharpened my organizational skills and attention to detail. My ability to communicate effectively is fundamental in establishing strong relationships internally and externally, with stellar stakeholder skills.
My problem-solving, negotiating, analytical, and logical thinking skills are fundamental to my success. I have approached all my previous positions as opportunities for career advancement and discovery, and I will bring the same energy, skill, enthusiasm, and value-added vision to my new role. I believe I would add value and would successfully contribute to the long-term sustainable growth of an organization.
Experience
My journey with First National Bank started when I was initially appointed in July 2005 in the FNB Housing Division as a Data Capturer. It didn’t take management long to notice my commitment, knowledge, and dedication, and by July
2007, I was promoted to Document Splitter / Receptionist. This was shortly followed by yet another promotion to the position of Junior Financial Officer, where I served until October 2008, when I was internally transferred to the position of Project Team Lead, where my expertise could be better utilized. In April 2009, I was fortunate to be offered the position of Data Capturer for New Business and Re -advanced Applications. With my high level of business acumen and excellent industry knowledge , I was promoted again in 2013 to the position of Loans Processor. In March 2018, I was appointed as Acting Team Leader, where I gained
invaluable experience , leading up to my final promotion to Team Leader – Building and Development.
