Sima Fiyo's radio journey ignited in 2016 when she was just a 16-year-old Grade Learner, bitten by the radio bug. The enchanting world of broadcasting beckoned as Nkqubela FM, a distinguished radio station in Gqeberha, granted her the opportunity to shine. Sima's debut on the airwaves took place with the Children's Radio Foundation on the vibrant show "Livewire," where her youthful energy and charisma captivated audiences.

From there, Sima's star continued to rise as she assumed the helm of the acclaimed "Kq FM Top 30 Countdown" on Nkqubela FM. Her vibrant presence and keen music sense resonated with listeners, making her a beloved voice in the community. In 2019, the South African radio landscape was forever changed when Sima secured her breakthrough at the prestigious 5 FM, a leading commercial radio station.

An unprecedented feat, Sima became the youngest luminary in South African Commercial radio at just 19. Hosting the dynamic "5 Squad" alongside Zanele Potelwa every Thursday from 1 to 4 a.m., she proved her mettle as a versatile and engaging host. Simultaneously, Sima's voice graced the airwaves of Madibaz Radio as she anchored the lively "Diba Drive."

In 2022, Sima Fiyo achieved another milestone, becoming the youngest dual citizen at the esteemed SABC. Her multifaceted role at 5 FM encompassed being a Music Compiler, Stand-In Presenter, and Technical Operator, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to radio excellence. Sima's prowess extended to Tru FM, where she helmed the flagship chart show, "The Tru FM Top 30 Countdown," a testament to her exceptional skill and popularity.

Sundays found Sima at her innovative best, hosting "7 Colours" on Tru FM, a refreshing departure from the norm, where she embraced her role as the Minister of Ama2k, infusing youthful vibrancy into the radio landscape. Beyond the mic, Sima curated the musical tapestry of Tru FM as a Music Compiler, adding depth and resonance to the station's sound.
